Sorry Toilet Fixer (heehee...), but INXSIVE is the only CD that has Simple Simon, etc. on it. The only other place to get these songs is on the original 7" vinyl releases, as far as I know... As for procuring a copy, contact any decent store in Australia in any of those music magazines, and they have to have it. (It is not that rare in general, and you should be able to find a copy...) Have you tried "Goldmine"? They are a good source to try. If your system is not VMS (prompt ">" as in "MAIN>") or Unix (prompt "$" or "%"), it probably does not support FTP. Delphi is the only online service I know of with FULL Internet access (though NVN is planning on getting the full access as of June 1) (by full, I mean FTP, USEnet, Telnet, Gopher, and e-mail). There is hope though. If AOL has an Internet forum, search for all posts with "ftpmail" in them. A tad bit expensive indeed! I just received a catalogue from these guys and you would have to halve all the prices before they even come close to being reasonable. I'd recommend only going to them if you have heaps of money or are absolutely desperate for a particular item. Another place you could try in Australia (and far more reasonable price-wise) is: Witch Records P.O. Box 66 Mayfield NSW 2304 AUSTRALIA Ph/Fax: (049)67-2910 This is a mail order business which also does the rounds of the local record fairs. They advertise occasionally in Record Collector. I have bought stuff from them and they are very reliable (they also have a fair bit of INXS related stuff). To: inxs-list@iastate.edu (inxs-mailing-list) Date: Wed, 18 May 94 15:00:01 BST Mailer: Elm [revision: 70.85] It has been announced that the afore mentioned Chelmsford gig is not going ahead, although INXS had not been confirmed to play. Previous rumours about Milton Keynes Bowl might still come true. The idea was to have a 'Summer XS' kinda thing happening this summer to coincide with the 'Dirty Honeymoon' tour rather than play lots of crappy arenas or stadiums. Well, considering they made (where the hell is the Pound sign on this keyboard) &300,000 in one day for 'Summer XS' it makes more sense. ^ Yes, I know it isn't a Pound sign. PS. Any news on that INXSIVE CD. *********************************************************** ** Bill - Toilet Fixer Extrordinaire ** "Di Di Di ** **************************************** Di Di Di" ** C2JB@DMU.AC.UK ** The Birdy Song ** Leicester, UK. ******************** Received: from mailhub.iastate.edu by po-4.iastate.edu with SMTP id AA04834; Sun, 22 May 1994 21:12:08 -0500 Received: from mail02.prod.aol.net by mailhub.iastate.edu id AA03809; Sun, 22 May 1994 16:20:39 -0500 Received: by mail02.prod.aol.net (1.38.193.5/16.2) id AA16758; Sat, 21 May 1994 22:22:15 -0400 From: INXSARY@aol.com X-Mailer: America Online Mailer Sender: "INXSARY" Message-Id: <9405212222.tn357176@aol.com> To: inxs-list@iastate.edu Date: Sat, 21 May 94 22:22:14 EDT Subject: Clippings and Stuff I unearthed a load of INXS articles (some originals, some copies). From the INXS fan club, they are playing a big show with lots of other artists in Japan this summer, and then taking an extended break from touring and recording, though side projects are going to be explored... Again? Will this be as long as between Kick and X? If so then they seem very tired, and every vacation that long annoys fans. Recently a group of five fans of INXS who also are musicians by themselves took a break of three years, and the fans of that group were already afraid of splitting up. I hope the same will not happen with INXS.
