Great Australian Bite Tour: North American Dates
INXS.com has released the tour itinerary for the "Great Australian Bite Tour" of North America featuring INXS, Midnight Oil, and Men At Work. The 22 date tour will take the band across much of the United States and Canada. Dates are currently subject to change. Aussie Invasion!
Though expected for many weeks, INXS has finally confirmed its participation in the upcoming US "Aussie invasion." The band will join forces in a triple header with Midnight Oil and Men At Work in dates beginning in May. Jon Stevens, the former lead singer of Noiseworks, will continue to front the band as he has done in numerous shows over the last six months. Two dates have thus far been released to the public: May 28 in Atlanta and June 25 in the Los Angeles area.

Shine Like It Does: The INXS Anthology
INXSweb.com has obtained exclusive information on the forthcoming INXS anthology, set to be released by Rhino Records in the United States on June 5. The 2-disc set will contain an astonishing 42 tracks and cover INXS' entire recorded history. As an extra bonus, "Here Comes II," a song never before released on CD will be included in the set. This information will not be made public officially for several days. And now, here is the exclusive track listing:

INXS Covered & Sampled
Winterland, a rock band based in Germany, has covered the classic INXS hit single "Original Sin" on its new album, The Truth. Fans can listen to an MP3 clip of the cover, along with other tracks from the new album, at MelodicRock.com. The band's official website is http://listen.to/winterland. (thanks to markus)
 
In related news, INXS.com reports that an artist by the name of "Exchange" has released a bootleg house/dance track in the UK called "Precious Heart". The song contains samples from "Never Tear Us Apart" and reached number 2 on the UK Cool Cut Charts on the 7th February. Currently very hot in English clubs, the track is not available for sale as of yet.

INXS Stamp
Australia Post will issue a stamp paying tribute to the success of Australian rock bands on March 20. INXS' stamp features original artwork recognising their hit single "Original Sin" from 1984. Also featured in the series are: Silverchair for "Tomorrow" (1994), Cold Chisel for "Khe Sahn" (1978), Men At Work for "Down Under" (1981), Midnight Oil for "Power and The Passion" (1983), John Farnham for "You're The Voice" (1988), Crowded House for "Don't Dream It's Over" (1988), Yothu Yindi for "Treaty" (1991), Kylie Minogue for "Confide In Me" (1994), and Savage Garden for "Truly Madly Deeply" (1997). A CD featuring the artists is expected to be released in the near future as well. The stamps will be made available on March 20, and can be ordered via the Australian Post Office website.
