Live Baby Live DVD
An Excess of INXS exclusive announcement: INXS' landmark concert film Live Baby Live will finally be released on DVD on August 8 in Australia. Filmed at Summer XS in London's famed Wembley Stadium, Live Baby Live is an engaging and energetic portrait of a band at its peak. The DVD arrives exactly ten years after the famous show performed before over 72,000 enthusiastic fans. The DVD can be pre-ordered now from Ezydvd.com.au (Australia) or Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom). Andrew and Kirk in North America
In support of the new Rhino Records release Shine Like It Does: The INXS Anthology, Andrew Farriss and Kirk Pengilly have just completed a promotional tour of North America. Andrew & Kirk appeared on the "Mark & Brian Radio Morning Show" on KLOS in Los Angeles on June 19, performing a couple of tracks and talking about the Anthology. That afternoon, Andrew was a guest on ABC television's Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher that aired the same night, while in the evening, the duo played a short acoustic set for Rhino executives and VIP's. On June 21st, they hit Toronto, appearing on both Mix 99.9 and the Edge 102 for interviews and performances. In the evening, they performed a special acoustic invite-only show at the NOW Lounge in Toronto. The show was recorded, and is viewable over the net at VirtueCast.com. Finally, Andrew appeared on Long Island's WMJC this afternoon for the final radio stop of this whirlwind tour.
