An Excess of INXS - News

January 2002

Happy Birthday Michael
A happy birthday to the late Michael Hutchence, who would have turned a stately 42 today. Fan celebrations of the legendary singer will take place on January 26 in New York at the bar Barramundi, in Sydney at the Hard Rock Cafe, and in Minnesota at Billabong's.

New INXS Cover
Transmatic (, a band from Indianapolis who just released their debut album on Virgin, have been performing a cover of INXS' "Don't Change" at the end of their shows. As the band's debut single "Come" is steadily gaining radio play across the US, it may just be a short while before Transmatic breaks through. You can check out their album at (thanks to Zac Steger)

U2 Grammy Nod
