Tight Single Release
In addition to appearing on the new Best Of compilation, the
previously unreleased song "Tight" will also be released as a single.
The limited edition single will feature the title track, which dates
back to the 1992 Welcome to Wherever You Are sessions, along
with three exclusive remixes, the Randy Radio Edit, the Thick Dick
remix, and the Dino Lenny remix.
Geldof Speaks
Bob Geldof has broken his public silence for the first time since the
untimely deaths of ex-wife Paula Yates and INXS frontman Michael
Hutchence. Geldof, in Australia to promote his new album, appeared on
Australia's "60 Minutes" program over the weekend and discussed his

On an historic note for INXS fans, it was on this day in 1995 that
Michael Hutchence pleaded guilty to hitting a photographer and was
fined $600. The photographer was taking Hutchence's picture outside a
hotel where Hutchence had spent the night with the estranged wife of
singer Bob Geldof.

The Complete Deluxe Years
One of the most sought-after INXS recordings ever will make its way to
record stores in Australia on October 14. Stay Young 1979-1982 (The
Complete Deluxe Years) is a digitally remastered 43 track anthology
with over 2 1/2 hours music. This double CD set presents the band's
first two albums, INXS and Underneath The Colours, along
with non-album singles on disc one. Disc two presents 20 rarities
including 14 previously unreleased tracks, demos from band archives,
live cuts, soundtrack songs and 90's re-recordings of early Oz-only
hits. It also features a deluxe color booklet (32 pages), rare photos
and a track by track commentary by INXS band members. The CD packaged
is being released by Raven Records.

US Remastered CD's Delayed
According to several retailers, the forthcoming Best Of and
remastered INXS catalog will now be released via Rhino Records on
November 9, 2002. But word on the horizon has an Aussie best of
