History
An Excess of INXS launched in 1993 by Neil Kothari as an off-shoot of the INXS Email List. In the last 7 years, it has grown exponentially in content and popularity, and today enjoys privileged status as the first INXS site on the internet. Currently offered are biographical information, an exhaustive discography, the latest news, INXS Email List archives and information, fan resources and links, a multimedia section, a growing gigograpy, and a Michael Hutchence tribute site. The site has a well-frequented message board and chat room for fans to interact with one another. In addition, An Excess of INXS has a large archive of articles, interviews, and reviews dating back to 1992. The site has also featured exclusive interviews with Tim Farriss and Kirk Pengilly in the past.

In June of 2000, An Excess of INXS merged with the fansite Welcome to Wherever You Are run by Mario Ferrari in Switzerland. Please click here for the official announcement of the merger. The webmasters for inxsweb.com are Neil Kothari, a resident physician in New York, and Mario Ferrari, a professional typographer/web designer.

After a ten year run, the demands of running the high quality site finally caught up with its busy webmasters, and in April 2003 the site was closed. INXSweb.com continues as a permanent archive of INXS information, so please feel free to continue to access the multiple resources inside!
